Welcome to Cannock Car Club Web site.
The club was formed in 1971 and has grown into an active Motor Club with over a hundred members drawn from the Cannock region of Staffordshire. We are affiliated to the MSA (Motor Sports Association) our members are active in a wide range of Motor Sport disciplines and related social activities.
Family memberships are very popular with
numerous couples and their off spring participating in club events.
Many types of motor sport are catered for with members regularly competing in
Stage rallying, Circuit racing, Sprints, 12 car rallies and auto tests.
The club organizes an Auto Test Championship, together with a Multi Use Stage
Rally, which was successfully held at Weston Park for 3 years in the late
1990’s, and at Hixon Airfield, near Stafford.
We organize a number of social events, treasure hunts, scatter rallies, quizzes,
regular video evenings & the occasional talk night. The social highlight of
the year being the annual Dinner Dance & Award Presentation evening.
Annually we typically display a few competition cars at ‘Cars in the Park’
in Litchfield & run a separate event in Cannock where we not only show our
cars but collect donations for the ‘County Air Ambulance Service’
For those who have not got a separate ‘competition
vehicle’ we run a Marshals Championship, this being
one of the most important sides of the sport, without Marshals there would not
be any events for competitors.
We meet every Wednesday evening at The Five Ways
Public House in Heath Hayes from around 9 pm. Anybody
interested in joining us will be made more than welcome;
